Happenings September 20, 2019

I think it has been awhile since I offered a dose of humor in my weekly Happenings articles, so here is some today.  I am somewhat concerned about doing this now, since previously our Happenings articles were only available through the emails and now, they are published on the Blog page on our website every week.  The Coffee with Jesus strip gives us permission as long as we acknowledge the source and provide a link ( http://www.radiofreebabylon.com/coffeewithjesus ), however I can not find permissions or instructions on the other cartoons.  So at this time, I will acknowledge where I found them, and if others can offer me guidance or correction, please contact me at pastor@immanuelucc.com .

PRE-PAID FUEL 2019-2020: This is just a reminder that cold weather is just around the corner and the need to keep our church building warm this winter

is always a challenge.   Getting help with this expense via our pre-paid fuel account is a big help in meeting our financial obligations.  Our goal this year
